[How To] Make Gift Boxes for Your Sweethearts: Making the Cut
Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! As always, I’m delighted to welcome special guest Nichol Spohr to our blog to showcase this gorgeous trio of Sweetheart boxes, each with their own creative flair! Nichol is also showcasing the Gina K Designs Intri-Cut Machine in making these boxes and giving a few fun tips and tricks! To make these cute boxes you’ll want to start with our Sweetheart Box as a base and layer on some color or texture with either our Tucked Hearts stamp, Outline Hearts stamp, or Falling In Love stencil, and follow along for the rest of the ingredients for the desired look! Inspired by Pantone’s 2025 Color of the Year: Mocha Mousse
Hello there friends, it’s Nina-Marie Trapani here with you and today I have a special birthday card to share, inspired by Pantone’s 2025 Color of the Year: Mocha Mousse!
In this video I will be walking you through how I used our Simon exclusive Big Birthday Cake stencil and coordinating die set to create a giant (and scrumptious looking) cake! The project features Mocha Pawsitively Saturated Ink as the color for the icing (perfect for the Mocha Mousse color!) and I also used Dark Chocolate cardstock to die cut the Bubble Script Birthday set.
I also used some other fun colors from our Pawsitively Saturated Ink collection to color my background and cake pieces. The stencil used to create the background was our popular Mix and Match Circles. The fun sprinkles on the cake are a great Funfetti mix from Pretty Pink Posh. I even added some Rainbow Gem stickers to the background for an extra pop of sparkle!
