Sweet Treat Froyo Thanks Card featuring NEW Lawn Fawn Summer collection!
Hi friends! Happy Saturday! Please join me in welcoming back special guest Audrey Tokach today representing Lawn Fawn! You might recognize the main Froyo (Frozen Yogurt) image from Lawn Fawn’s NEW (and oh-so cute) Summer 2024 collection! Be sure to read on to learn all about how Audrey made this cute card and enjoy!
To create my card, I started off by diecutting a piece of white cardstock using the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangles dies. Using the new Draped Ribbons stencil and some Shaded Lilac Distress Ink, I added a pretty pattern to all but the bottom of the panel, which I masked off with Post it Tape. For added interest, I splattered on some watered down white acrylic paint. I diecut the new Lawn Fawn Froyo Friend die from white cardstock, and used my Copic markers to add color.
To ground my adorable little Froyo Friend, I diecut the new Giant Outlined Thanks die in both black and white cardstock. I used the white outline and added black inset into the letters for a fun, bold sentiment. I glued that at the bottom of the panel using Lawn Fawn Glue Tube, popping up my Froyo Friend with foam tape. For an additional greeting, I used the previously released All The Speech Bubbles stamp set and coordinating dies and popped the speech bubble up with foam tape on the left side of the Froyo Friend to balance out the strawberry detail on the right. Of course, I had to add some googly eyes, and Diamond Stickles for some fun sparkle. To finish off my card, I added some white and black gel pen accents, and a tiny scattering of clay hearts before popping the panel up on an A2 card base.

Hello there! Thanks so much for joining me today as we Build-A-Gumball Machine! Lawn Fawn’s summer release is simply adorable and I am so thrilled to have the chance to play with some of the items. I know a lot is used on this card, but that’s also the fun of making it! I love the way Lawn Fawn’s products coordinate (intentionally or not).
The Build-A-Gumball Machine die is so cute and it stood out to me because I love paper-piecing! So, today’s card features this adorable die and is combined with a few stamp sets to bring together a playful scene.

The All the Smiles set is a must-have for bringing literal smiles to inanimate objects! I thought it would be fun to add smiles to all the gumballs in my shaker.
To add some characters to my card, I thought little mice would be perfect. The images come from the new Whoosh, Kites! set and the Merry Mice set. I also stamped a coin from the How You Bean? Money Add-On set to color for the gumball machine.

For the background, I used the new Bunting Backgrounds Stencils to add a festive feel to the card. I used the same ink-colors that I used to ink-blend the gumballs. To finish, I stamped a sentiment from the Sweet Smiles stamp set. This is a gumball machine image that you can make a card out of too, if you don’t enjoy paper-piecing. It’s great to have options!
