Not a Card with Nina-Marie Reprise: DIY Sticker Sheets (Makes a Great Gift!)
Hi friends! Stephanie here to reshare a super fun “oldie but goodie” past shared project from our awesome teamie Nina-Marie Trapani. If you’re anything like me, you’re already longing for Spring (if you live in the part of the world that it’s cold in ;)) and this project is the PERFECT one to do inside and cozy while looking forward to Spring with these adorable Spring Birds! If you’re viewing this for the first time or as a repeat, check it out and be inspired to use something from your stash for a fun weekend crafting activity!
I always love creating handmade gifts for the people I know and love. I had the idea to make DIY stickers that I could package as a set. You could make this extra-special by gifting it with a set of pencils, markers, etc. If you are giving this to a child, crayons would be a great medium to pair with the stickers.
The stickers are SO easy to make – so much so that you are going to find this addicting and will probably end up making more than you intended to! The supplies you’ll need to make these stickers include:
- a stamp and coordinating die set (I used the Simon Says Stamp Spring Birds set)
- a black ink pad, such as the Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink
- Scor-Tape double-sided adhesive sheets
- white cardstock
After making my set of sticker sheets, I packaged them in a vellum envelope, which was created with Simon’s A2 Envelope die set.
I will show you exactly how I made these unique sticker sheets in the video below, so make sure you click “play” and watch the process!

NEW for 2025!! Give Envelope Journaling a Try with Shari Carroll
Welcome everyone!!! It’s Shari here with an art journal installment that’s a bit different than the ones I’ve done in the past. This is a combination of a card and a journal.
I’ve put together regular envelopes to create several pages to use as a gift idea for Valentines or other special occasion.
Beautiful Tim Holtz Ephemera was carefully arranged to compliment each page. The unique pockets are ready to hold sweet hand written messages and even gift cards!
I’ve done some simple stamping with the new Distressed Vintage Love Notes using soft tones of brown. Neutral colored papers were used with the Dancing Floral embossing folder and lightly sanded to expose the white core of the design.
A simple ribbon placed under an ephemera panel can be used to tie the booklet together.
Sewing is an option that I love but not a necessity. To see how everything came together, check out my video below. Enjoy!
